Depending on how the "Nate Buttenfield Story" ends, this could be a script right out of Hollywood...The 6-foot-7 righty was throwing in front of 5 scouts with radar guns at Limeport Stadium, consistently throwing 92 mph and hitting 94 several times as he got the win in a 5-inning stint (not allowing a run, striking out 7 and walking none) as the Bulls snapped the Owls' 11-game winning streak, 3-2...

In other action, Brian Boylan struck out 12 as the Coplay Reds downed the ICC Pirates 5-2 and the Fleetwings rallied for 5 runs in the top of the seventh to give the Northern Yankees a very tough 5-4 loss. Charlie Torres was 3-for-3 for Woodlawn.
