2007 Trico season about to begin
The 2007 season is upon us, as the season opens up on Thursday, May 10...
Pennridge visits Quakertown (Field #2) at 6:00 and this game is interesting because Pennridge is a new team, looking to win their first franchise game, while Quakertown (The Milford Pioneers franchise, about to embark on their 17th season) is looking to have a record over .500 for the FIRST time in their franchise history...
The 2007 Trico preview has been submitted to The Morning Call and should be in their paper on Thursday (if they have the space) and if they don't, it'll be in over the weekend...
Rosters will be added to the website after the WED night meeting and as many team previews as I can get on there will also be put on the website...
The new Trico site is coming along well, with more than half of the 5000 pages converted over...It is a tedious process, but eventually, I'll get everything converted...The only real question left is which direction to go with the Career Stats and Player Profiles, as we look to overhaul those sections into something really nice...If any players or fans of the league know of any stat programs that would be good to use, feel free to email the site...
Also new for the 2007 season is the directions to the fields, as I now have an "Ending Destination" address for every field for Mapquest so people can get exact directions to every field from their house (or from anywhere)...
Here is a sample link (for Quakertown):

Other new pages of note include the new Schedule Page:
http://www.tricountyleague.com/History/2007_Calendar.shtml
Here, you can look at the schedule month by month or click on the individual days for a more detailed look at the games, including stat sheets and Morning Call and/or Website articles for certain games...Team schedules can also be found near the top...
Game results will be posted on the site the same night as the game and stat sheets will be posted as soon as the Statistician receives them...
This should be an interesting 2007 season...
