Scott Johnston plans to broadcast Limeport at Coplay on Tuesday, Gabelsville at Woodlawn on Thursday and Limeport at Coplay again on Saturday...

Depending on how long the Owls/Fleetwings game goes on Thursday, he may try and get down to catch the game at Limeport in progress, but that remains to be seen...

First Trico internet broadcast in the books

The Northern Yankees vs. Limeport Bulls game on Thursday night was the league's first Live Audio play-by-play broadcast and it is archived and can be listened to at any time from this link:

http://www.meridix.com/archive.php?liveid=tricountyleague

As we get more more familiar with the software, we should have music breaks between innings and hopefully each broadcast will improve a little bit with experience...

We did have a postgame recap where Scott Johnston interviewed Yankees' manager Brian Polaha, Bulls' pitcher and "Player of the Game" Scott Stewart and Bulls' manager Dylan Dando...

Just a note: With threatening weather for Saturday afternoon and two open fields with no shelter for fans and more importantly broadcasters, we may not be able to broadcast the Fleetwings or Yankees game because of the possibility of extremely hot and humid conditions and the chance of a sudden thunderstorm and no cover for a laptop and 34-pound powerpack to power the laptop...

We'll see how it goes...

Trico's first live internet play-by-play broadcast on Thursday

Unless an issue comes up at Limeport Stadium and there is some reason we cannot broadcast from there due to signal strength issues, then we will have the Northern Yankees at Limeport broadcast live with streaming audio from the internet on Thursday, July 26 at 7:30...

The link to listen to the game is here:

http://www.meridix.com/everywhere.php?liveid=tricountyleague

If there are no technical issues, announcing the game will be Scott Johnston and Steve Smull.

Jordan Creek now has #6 seed

Jose Medina tossed a 3-hit shutout and knocked in a run to lead Jordan Creek over the Northern Yankees 2-0...That result, coupled with a Limeport sweep over Cetronia (Paul Smith won Game 1 and Ryan Gerber won Game 2), puts the Gators a game up on Cetronia and is the only team of the three competing for the final playoff berth who controls their own destiny now...Coplay defeated ICC 5-3, but the Pirates are still alive for the final berth...A crucial game takes place this WED as JC visits Cetronia...The Longhorns will be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss...
