Boyertown 9, L.V. Marlins 3 (Game 1)-- Mike Lloyd was 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored, Todd Speilman was 2-for-4, Cory Berghardt was 2-for-4 with 2 runs scored and Anthony Clemens struck out 9 on the hill and picked up the win for the Metz...Zach Szoke was 1-for-4 with 2 RBI for the Marlins...

L.V. Marlins 8, Boyertown 5 (Game 2)-- Cody Krupa was 2-for-4 with 3 RBI, Zach Szoke was 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored, Mike Santiago was 2-for-4, Ryan Weiner was 2-for-4 with a 2B at the plate while going 6+ for the win on the mound, and Mike Hock got the save as the Marlins won the nightcap...Ethan Moser was 2-for-4 with a 3b and 2 runs scored and Cory Berghardt was 2-for-4 with 2 RBI for the Metz...

Volpe's Limeport 9, Cetronia 0 --Devon Ziegenfuss was 2-for-3 with a 2B and 2 runs scored , Dan Hemberger was 1-for-4 with a 2B and 2 RBI and Matt Wiltrout went six shutout innings for the Bulls...

Roosevelt's 21st Black Sox 3, Jordan Creek 1 -- John Wisser had the pinch-hit, go-ahead 2-run double in the top of the 6th and later scored on a hit by Tyler Bodnar, who finished 2-for-3 with a 2B and a RBI, and Ernie Stiegler went 7 strong innings for the complete-game victory for the Black Sox...Brandon mazzie threw 5 shutout innings in a no-decision for the Gators.

Limeport wins on Trico's Opening Day...

Sunday, May 15

Limeport 6, Gabelsville 3 -- Tyler Lehman went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI and Adam Maini picked up the win in relief as the Bulls got a small measure of revenge for losing to the Owls in game 5 of the Finals last season at the same venue as Sunday. Mike Cudwadie went 2-for-4 for Limeport.

For the Owls, Shane Houck hit a 2-run HR and Jon Kalejta went 2-for-3 in defeat.

All of the other contests slated for Sunday were rained out.
